These are examples of tissue paper cityscapes that were done as part of a study on Paul Klee. These are completed in the style of his "Castle and Sun".
These are examples of a painted paper collage by 3-4th grader.
These are examples of torn paper bag kitties and mice made/drawn by the 1-2nd graders.
The 3-4th graders and their 3-4 year old friends had a great time studying Jackson Pollock, also known as "Action Jackson". We did action painting on sheets outside, action painting with yarn on paper, made action painting cookies, and completed an action painting on the computer. Reinforce what we've learned by borrowing the picture book "Action Jackson" from the Brown County Library or try more action painting at www.jacksonpollock.org.
These are some examples of a leaf print/sponge painting activity the 1-2nd graders completed this year.
You should see them in person. Their color choices are very bold and each piece is very interesting.
We had a lot of fun using God's art to create our own individual pieces of art.
